Dr. Ricardo Li was born in Lima, Peru. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine. He then obtained his Master's Degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of California, Davis. He is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He did his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics in Minneapolis, MN. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has received various honors throughout his academic training.
Dr. Li has published several medical articles and has experience in medical research. He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, The American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological Association.
He is fluent in Spanish and also speaks Chinese. His hobbies include being a medical translator, supervising youth programs, and competitive swimming.
